Assistant Principal

Mrs. Carla Bates
I am excited to begin my second year as the Assistant Principal at New Hope High School.  I look forward to continuing our journey to help all students achieve academic success and career preparation.  With our great level of community support, we will continue to raise the standard of performance and hold each other accountable for our results.  We strive to give all students an opportunity to learn at the highest levels.
The 2017-18 year was great as we raised the number of AP qualifying scores from 27 to 43 in only one year.  We will continue to develop our AP program to give more rigor to our students.
Mrs. Franetta Ryans, our new Assistant Principal, at New Hope High School. She brings a great deal of experience to our faculty. She graduated from Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She obtained a second Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership at Alabama A&M. She graduated from Samford University with an Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership. Mrs. Ryans believes that all children can learn. She leads and lives by the words, "Model, Teach, Guide, Support, Encourage, Optimistic, and Love." We are excited to have Mrs. Ryans join our faculty.
